1. Save money. Having one large seating chart in place of 50-300 place cards is popular for more than one reason. Other ways it could help save money is by using tables that don’t need linens helps the planet as much as it does your bank account.
2. Reusing. You can take “something old” to a whole new level. Reducing the waste at your wedding can mean recycling an old wedding dress, memorable trinkets for centerpieces, or family heirlooms as more personalized decorations or guest book.
3. Easy party favors. Two birds, one stone? Count me in, but not for the birds. Don’t want disposable cups? Put your names, the venue location, & the date and you have yourself a wedding favor. I love seeing favors that make a lasting impression; something that people/guest will use for an extended period of time such as seed pencils or handmade gifts like soy candles made by the couple.
4. Help people. You have the ability to impact people’s lives in countries you might not have heard of. Purchasing conflict free diamonds and garments that fit fair-trade standards mean you are improving lives as well as reducing your carbon footprint.
