LGBTQ Styled Shoot at Hermitage Museum & Gardens

Weddings vendors across the Hampton Roads community came together at Hermitage Museum & Gardens in Southeastern Virginia for this styled shoot. The goal of the shoot was to highlight the beauty and vibe of this real-life couple, merging their different styles to flow together harmoniously.

The couple met in college and their relationship developed throughout the pandemic. While one earns her graduate degree in Spain, the other just accepted a position at a commercial interior design firm in Denver. Their distance doesn’t drive them apart but sets them apart from the rest. Much like the styled shoot, two different people coexist to form a perfect union in a fun and unique way.

We tied a simple gown from Milk & Honey Bridal embellished with an intricate floral belt next to a bespoke bohemian-inspired dress paired with a vintage rose gold engagement ring and wedding band from Diamonds Direct.

The Hermitage Museum & Gardens was the perfect backdrop, acting like a greenscreen to the subject in front of it. We kept a traditional autumn color palette with a striking purple in the flowers from Virginia Floral Design and desserts from The Sugar Cave.
