The Story
Erica & Bryan both disliked online dating apps but COVID had just hit and it was the only way to meet new people. They hit it off via texts and soon found themselves talking on the phone for hours every night. After many dates trying different breweries and listening to live music, Bryan popped the question while on vacation in Florida. They were walking on the beach with Erica’s son when Bryan got down on one knee, and moments after Erica said yes, her son found a jellyfish on the shore!
The Wedding
Wanting to have fun on their big day and not be wrapped up in the small details, Erica & Bryan’s only priorities were sunset photos and a final dance alone in the barn. The weather cooperated only for their sunset pictures. The rain began 30 minutes before their ceremony. Thankfully we had made the call to move their ceremony under the upper barn patio of Sky Ridge Farm and were able to move their ceremony arbor with our team and the help of some amazing catering staff. We moved their unity tree for the ceremony under the arbor to match, and in front of friends and family, Erica & Bryan shared their vows and danced the night away. One of Jenna’s (wedding coordinator) and Brenna’s (assistant) favorite elements of the day was Erica’s “Mrs. Sayers” denim jacket with pearl embellishments – so chic!
