Alex & Nick: A Romantic Wedding at Hilton Garden Inn in Suffolk

The Story

Alex & Nick randomly ran into each other on campus and struck up a conversation, which led to many dates. Nick officially asked Alex to be his girlfriend on Cinco de Mayo. Later on, he proposed completely out of the blue, surprising Alex while she was working on the couch.

The Vision

Alex and Nick were looking for help collecting all of their ideas and creating a cohesive vision, so they booked our Custom Coordination package to help with design and booking their design vendors. The Hilton Garden Inn at Suffolk Riverfront Ballroom incorporates a lot of red. Instead of fighting that, Alex chose to embrace it and include it in her color palette along with mauve, light pink, and gold as an accent. This helped create the romantic and timeless vision that Alex was looking for.

We used an arbor and other details to soften the room and draw attention to Alex and Nick for their stunning ceremony. Their signage had a minimalistic look to keep it clean and classic. For the reception, they celebrated their love with traditional dances, the shoe game, and an eco-friendly ribbon exit to top it all off!
