Heather & Willson were introduced by Willson’s best friend, but the timing wasn’t right yet, as Heather was in a relationship at the time. In Fall of 2018, both single, they ran into each other again on campus and bonded thanks to their dogs, Buster and Cash. They love hiking, drinking craft beers, and watching murder mystery movies. One of their first vacations together was to Nashville, and when they returned to Nashville again for a New Year’s Eve music festival, Willson popped the question.

Heather & Willson celebrated their lifelong love at Sky Ridge Farm, a family-owned wedding venue with stunning mountain views nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Undeterred by the rainy day, they posed for photos with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains outside the rustic white barn. Inside they enjoyed BBQ ribs on the long wooden tables adorned with dainty pink place settings, then partied hard with every type of alcohol available.
